Bio
I just realized this is totally outdated. (Again)
Interesting and Boring Facts about Sarah:
* I am still a Jersey Girl from rural, mountainous North Jersey; I live six days a week in New Brunswick, because I go to Rutgers.
* I am studying botany (aka plants)
* I've also done some work towards a never-declared English/Creative Writing major but it got annoying. But then I went crazy and decided to drop the Plant Science major and finally declare that English major and do more than half of the work towards it all in my senior year! AAHHH! Let's see if I make it.
* After I graduate (har har har) in May 2006, I will be attending another college within Rutgers University to finish up that botany degree. So, with luck, by sometime in 2008, I will have two bachelor's degrees. *crosses fingers*
* I have five pets--three large dogs and two cats.
* I play the piano and teach piano to kids.
* I am never graduating college, it seems, and have given up on having a normal graduate-get-a-good-job-get-married-have-kids life. Yes, this is still true. It's not that my goal is to NOT get married, but I don't want marriage to be the ultimate goal. I'd rather it just be a nice thing that happens, should it happen. But I do want kids (just not now!) so somewhere, there is a minor flaw in my plan.
* I have three jobs.
* I sing in the RU Queens Chorale, which is where I met a lot of my friends and is a really interesting experience--actually knowing the words to our alma mater and several other Rutgers pride songs.
* On that topic, I have a very low singing voice--most pop music sung by women is too high for me and most music sung by men is perfectly in my range. I can't decide if this is cool or creepy. My mom thinks it's creepy.
* Some of my bizarre hobbies include looking for odd/quirky things like interesting farmer's markets or antique stores. Another hobby of mine that I have just begun to admit to is grocery shopping. I have no idea why I love grocery shopping so much.
* I also like driving.
* Lately I have learned how to knit and I can't stop!
* I also hate talking on the phone (but find myself doing it so much.)
* Some of this journal is practice for the books I want to write. Sometimes (cough cough most of the time) I forget that I want to write books and it's just rants and boring lists of what I did today. Or really long drunk postings.
* I hate writing these bio things. They make me feel pretentious or boring.

Look how outdated this is! *gasp*
Yes, I realize that my picture that represents me "throughout the LiveJournal site" is me in a Get Up Kids shirt with a fro. If you don't know me, my hair doesn't normally look like that (but that is my hair, not a wig). My use of goofy LJ pictures is supposed to be a reminder (to me and whoever else needs it) not to take one's self too seriously.
Well, now I have my "classy" toga party pic. I like this picture because a) I look good in it and b) I think it's funny that people think this picture is so nice, but I am wearing a bedsheet and somehow hiding the fact that I was completely wasted when this picture was taken.
